I know all hotels do reservations differently, I was wondering if this one made you pay BEFORE you reserve, once you check-in (usually it's this), or when you leave?

Also, if they require a debit/credit card on file? I have one, just don't use it a ton. xD

Last year you needed a credit card on file to reserve the room. The actual room wasn't charged until you checked out... BUT there was a hold put onto the card for the ammount of the charge... (at checkin)

As long as you either had that much in your account or had a limit that wasn't reached yet you were fine.

A lot of hotels do charge you for one night as a deposit of sorts when you reserve the room. This is usually refunded if you cancel the room just as long as you give them ample notice. I don't remember this hotel doing this last year ^_^
